Jaibo Films, in coproduction with Galdare and other 3 associate producers, has just finished shooting this 26' film, combining fiction and documentary. The subject is the Holy Face, the piece of linen cloth, the relic which is a Monastery in Alicante. The documentary will be available from the 22nd of April in DVD, with a first run of 45.000 copies. The DVDs will be fully distributed with the newspaper Diario Información.

The documentary focuses on one fold of the cloth with which a woman, perhaps Veronica, cleaned the face of Christ in the way of the Calvary, in 33 year a.D. Since then, shows the trips and miracles happened since its arrival to Alicante.
The film mixes two genres: the first part, fiction, reproducing the facts happened in previous centuries,  with the help of important technical and artistic resources, counting on an ambitous casting, crew, locations and clothes from XVI century; the other part, documentary, narrates the startling tradition in Alicante which is celebrated every year, the second Thursday during Eastern, after the Sunday of Resurrection, it shows the pilgrimage to Santa Faz Monastery, with an attendance of more than 200,000 people.
